Seb Bouin visited Croatia and made some amazing ascents!

Croatian Project
Virda 9a FA
(Pitch one of the project)
After adding a few bolts to an existing @kbecan25 route to make this king line possible, I’m stoked to bring the first part to life!
The route starts with a great 25m 8c+, followed by a juggy rest, and then a sick boulder problem on full-span tufa moves — that’s what bumps it up to 9a.
When I first bolted the line, it was hard to believe that this sequence could even go. The holds are so far apart that I didn’t think it would be possible that way.
After the 9a, the real crux of the project begins — the 9a feels almost like the “approach.”
I’ve already sent the 9a section 7 times, but always fell at the main crux.
That crux is something truly unique in a sport route. I’ll be sharing some footage of it soon!
This Croatian project is, for me, the main line of the crag — climbing through the most beautiful and overhanging part of the wall, with stunning and unusual moves.
More details about this inspiring project coming soon!
